What You Should Know
The Keyholder assists the Store Manager with daily operations of a shoe store in order to maximize sales and maintain operational company standards. Prior retail experience is preferred. Management/supervisory skills required. They will establish and maintain SHOE SHOW, INC.'s standard of service by demonstrating a "Customer comes first" attitude. The Keyholder leads and inspires the team by being a positive role model and demonstrating good judgement in decision-making based on a mixture of information gathered on the job. In absence of Management, they may open/close the store including all associated duties as well as assign tasks throughout the day to ensure that the store operates productively and efficiently.
What You Will Do
The Keyholder assesses daily staffing needs and validates that the sales floor is covered by a balanced team sufficient to perform all of the store's business functions. They will ensure that the store's sale merchandise is properly tagged in addition to adhering loss prevention sensors to appropriate items. The Keyholder will process merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor and keeps the stock room clean and organized. They will participate in and oversee SHOE SHOW, INC. strategies and directives including markdowns, promotions, and transfers. Making the Customer Connection is a critical component of the Keyholder to demonstrate SHOE SHOW, INC brand loyalty. The Keyholder will also perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- One year retail experience preferred.
- One year prior management/supervisory experience required.
